Well, its me agn.. the VUL of Falx.
This will be a post without pics.

Traplex 09 had successfully ended. Leaving behind memories. Together as the Falxers, we went thru the ups and downs of the camp. Quarrels and laughters. We fought to the end. Continued climbing after each failure we faced. The never fading spirit brought us to victory. Working under the hot sun and heavy rain. Facing criticizes, scoldings, obstacles from parents and here we are at the top of the standing.

As a VUL i had learnt my lesson that winning is not everything in a camp. Its all about teamwork, sacrifices and determination. I would like to apologize for creating fuss over small issues. I am sorry if i offended anyone. Which i am pretty sure i did. SORRY AGN!

The memories of Falx will never fade. Thanks for everything.

greetings to everybody in Traplex including Excos and whoever's blog-hopping.
as we all know, Traplex 2009 officially starts tomorrow.
so i'm sitting here in my chair and wondering how fast time flies,
i would like to wish good luck to EVERYBODY and let's piaaa together.
camp is not ALL about winning, it's about making new friends (also to meet up with old ones again) and to gain a lil' more experience here and there too.
if we people from UNIT 1 FALX have done wrong in body, mind and speech, i sincerely apologise.
hope you all won't take it in heart.

FALX is back with yet another post =] But, before that..

BE WARNED!!!!! It might get a lil' long, because its SUE FERN blogging here! xD

30th Nov

Meeting started at noon and ended pretty late at night. As per usual, we "hardworking" and "time-saving" guides, started work seconds after arriving. Everyone immediately started painting the eiffels with SHINY SILVER GLOSS PAINT!!! =D As for our VUL Kai Xian and Li Wen, they were at PFS handling the bamboo transportation stuff.

Back to work now.. Celia and Janice starting on another eiffel =]

Ah. Everyone's diligently working on the eiffel =D

After a few hours, everyone rested for a while. And you know what that means...

YES! Playing around! Haha. Don't blame us, we stick to the quote that goes, "All work and no play makes Jill a dull girl." :P

Soon enough, we ran out of gloss paint. Regina and her Paul Frank [FYI, it's the monkey on her shirt] was being nice by opening the tin because everyone else was lazy to :s

Before we knew it, it was already night time! We finished just in the nick of time as we couldn't really see the paint anymore :<>



BUT! Day or night, it isn't an obstacle for us to continue our work.

VUL Kai Xian came back soon after. Being out very awesome VUL, he wasted no time and started on the logbook stand.


And that was pretty much it for the day =]


1st Dec


It's PRECAMP! Arrived at 7am =] And, what else could we do? We worked. Lol.

Soon enough, we got our Larder and Dresser up =] Though it wasn't exactly stable yet...

And suddenly, TL Alvin Cheah called all the leaders for some short meeting.



When we were exhausted and tired out, VUS Mei Chern's mum was kind enough to buy us some food and drinks! Heaven has arrived xD

As we took our lunch, the evil evil Sun came out and burnt us all... There was only one umbrella, so some of us were quarreling over it xD

Janice : Nooo! It's mine!!

But in the end, they set aside their differences and made a truce. They shared it instead lol



Soon, VUL Kai Xian, Li Wen, and I worked on the gateway.

Ooh. Tall....



While the three of us were busy building the gateway, the others didn't just sit and do nothing. They continued with their respective work.



Li Wen cut herself while sawing a bamboo D:

She seems weirdly happy about it though...

VUL Kai Xian, having heard the news, rushed over and inspected her injury. Awwww, how sweet =3


And uh, we started chit-chatting sometime after that.... Cut us some slack! Humans need rest too, okay!

Look at the amount of bamboo! Eek.

Although we progressed a lot today, compared to the Exco's? Yeah, we barely did anything.

We were still pretty satisfied anyways. That was all for today! =]

the day that everybody in Traplex have been waiting for.
*drum rolls*
Selection Day has finally paid a visit to us.
we the Falx unit members had a meeting in the morning.
we made our last rehesal a perfection and made our way to Youth Park.
loads of other Traplex members were already there as we brace ourselves for the day.





after a good luck speech from our TL Alvin Cheah,
all of us got ready as we're the ones up to face the judges first for dance.
even though it was a frantic moment, but we still able to smile and gave our all.
it was such a competition to us to see that everyone was as good as us or maybe better!
:O
well at the end of the day, we managed to breathe a huge sigh of relieve that everything's over BUT this was just the beginning of everything!

To the ONES who have been selected:

Congratulations and good luck during Camp Night.
